The NZ Film Festival is on at the moment, and with it some awesome indie and foreign films have arrived for audiences around the country to go see. I caught my first flick last Friday. It was Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Anderson.

If you like Mr Anderson’s stuff then I recommend you check this flick out. If you’re not aware of Wes Anderson’s movies, then you should be checking them all out including this one. They’re generally quirky, offbeat and fun films to watch. Moonrise Kingdom was no exception. I enjoyed it immensely. So much so that I made some fan art of Sam Shakusky. I hope you like it.
