Hey everyone,
Hope you’ve been enjoying this storyline. This is the end of Chapter 4. I had fun making it. Though I will admit, all the earthquakes and the like made it hard to push through with it at times. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading it.
Next week I will be running a guest comic in between the break in Chapters. I’m looking forward to getting that up, as I have been sitting on it for a little while. The artist who kindly donated it has been very patient with me, as I worked my way through this story.
Then it’s on to Chapter 5!
Thanks for reading,
Marc
Hey all!
Hope this week has been treating you well. It’s been a rough old time in 2011 hasn’t it? I think just a couple of weeks ago I was recounting all these horrible disasters that have happened around the world in close frequency – and then the worst one yet, hit. The loss of life and destruction caused by that enormous tsunami is frightening. Here is hoping that the Japanese Government can successfully halt this impending nuclear meltdown soon. It is truly scary stuff. Japan, we love you!
Not much to report on my end, really. I hope the world catches a break soon. I think we all need some good news. Someone should organise a free ice cream day or something?

Marc
Today’s comic took a while to finish up. If you’ve been waiting for it, I apologise for the delay and hope you enjoy it. This one was actually based on a factual event. My friends Richard, Matt, Adam and I all went to a party and conversation always seems to start with talk about geographical location when you have a couple of guys from North America with you. Eventually there was some mild ribbing about Canada vs the USA, and without missing a beat Adam just calmly responds “It’s just great to be around all you Aussies”. Oh man, it was perfectly timed, and a well executed burn/response. I laughed pretty good with that one. Well done, sir. Now everyone can enjoy it – immortalised in comic form.
Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending a wedding of good friends of ours. However it was a terrible day weather wise and it was supposed to be a beach wedding. The whole drive there it was just pouring rain. Fortunately as we decended upon the beach everything cleared right up. It was great. We had the lovely intimate ceremony on the beach. The waves crashing in the background. Very appropriate as the bride and groom both lived out there, and the groom is a surfer.
No sooner had photos been taken and people were making their way back to the reception in their vehicles, it started raining again. The break in the weather was absolutely timed to perfection. Couldn’t have been better. It was good times all around.
Then a couple of days ago this happened not so far away from my house. Kinda crazy right?
Hope everyone else has had a good week.
Marc
If you had a head like that, imagine how much easier your trips to the dentist would be? Seriously, it would save a lot of grief I’m willing to bet.
Another busy week is reaching an end. Crazy that we’re already into March for 2011 isn’t it? On the drive into work the other morning I saw the trees were already losing some of their green luster. I guess that means soon enough they’ll be bare again, and down in the Southern hemisphere here, we’ll be facing colder weather. After a very humid summer, I don’t think I’ll be complaining too much about it. It’s been a rough summer after all. Floods in Queensland and Victoria. Bush Fires in Western Australia. Another big quake in Christchurch. Let’s hope it all settles down soon.
This weekend will be another busy one. I’ll see you all here next week.

Marc
Hello!
It was a busy weekend. Leading into a busy week. How about that Superbowl? Did you watch? Did you get the result you were looking for? I did watch, but wasn’t invested in a specific team. It was an enjoyable game though. What more can you ask for?
Hey, if you like my artwork, I now post sketches that aren’t specifically Adam related on a Tumblr blog. If you have a Tumblr account, then feel free to follow me. If you don’t, you can always bookmark or follow the RSS feed.
Has the week been treating you well?

Hey everyone,
This page is a cool one to get up. It’s one full year now that I’ve been posting weekly colour comics. It’s been a full on year, too! My thanks for my wife putting up with the hours I spend drawing these comics. Thanks also to you, for stopping by and reading them. It means a lot.
As for this page. I felt like I may have dropped the ball a bit with the sequential part of it. It might not be super obvious that you read all the panels on the left hand side first before moving over to the right. Hopefully that is a problem I don’t repeat anytime soon. I didn’t notice it until I was quite deep into the drawing of the page. Apologies for any confusion! I should have planned this one better. I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.
In about half an hour I turn 30. I’ll be spending most of my birthday at work sadly. However, the wife and I are going to hit up a basketball game after the working day is done. That should be fun!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
Thanks for reading,
Marc
Hey everyone!
I’m glad I finally got this comic up! It’s been a hectic week, and I have been a bit behind the eight ball. My friend Richard, came up from Christchurch and crashed with us from Thursday through to Sunday. The main reason was the Big Day Out which took place on the Friday. The festival itself was great, and you can read more about it in the blog. It was also fun to hang with a good friend, whom I don’t see all that often. Did you go to the Big Day Out 2011? Let me know how your day went in the comments section below!
Also, I have news of a gallery show that I am involved in. The show is called “NZ Goes Pop” and it starts next Friday, in Carrboro, North Carolina. That is a bit far away for myself to get there, but if you are a local to those parts, please go and check it out.
How has the week treated you?
Thanks for reading,
Marc
Hey all,
Well it’s been a busy week, and it’s going to be a busier weekend. Tomorrow I’ll be heading to the Big Day Out festival here in Auckland to check out some music. It should be pretty fully on! Looking forward to it. Hopefully everyone has had a good week!

Hey everyone!
Who is this mystery girl? Is it possible we’ve seen her before?
I was a little side tracked by a cold this week, but here it is, the comic is finally done. Hope you’ve been enjoying where the story is going. The cold was rather annoying. Who gets a cold in the middle of summer? Seriously. In any case, it has almost run its course now, and I am feeling a lot better.
The weekend (a long time ago now, as we’re already entering a new one) was a good one. I went and saw Public Enemy. There were fantastic!
Hope everyone had a good week!

Hey!
Did we all have fun in the transition to 2011? I can’t say I was out there partying hard, because I had too much work on. However, there is nothing wrong with having a chilled night either. Hopefully those of you who were celebrating did enough for those of us who weren’t.
This is the first comic of 2011. I’m so happy to have finished it. It took a long time to draw. That is a lot of people on a small page. Fun to draw though! Hope you like it!
