Damn!
Sorry this page was a bit later than they have been lately. I got started on it late. It was worth it though. Ended up taking my Mum, and immediate family out for Mother’s Day. We ended up getting a nice day, so went to the beach, got a burger, and just had some laughs. Did you remember to call your Mother? Ha ha!
We also had Free Comic Book Day on Saturday. Damn, that was awesome. So many good books were put out this year. Really looking forward to reading the Thor / Captain America one by Roger Langridge and Chris Samnee!
Hope you too, enjoyed your weekend!
Thanks for reading,
Marc
Hello again,
Adam sure does know how to get himself into some awkward situations doesn’t he? Still, he is trying at least, right?
Watched some of the Coachella festival while it was streaming live on YouTube this weekend. Pretty amazing stuff. I’m sure anyone who went had a great time. I enjoyed it, and I was watching from the comfort of my chair. A little cheaper than flying to California. Maybe one day?
What did you get up to this weekend? Anything exciting?
Thanks for reading,
Marc
Hey everyone!
I hope the week has started well for you. I made this page while excessively playing that new Beastie Boys track that dropped last week. Then, when I wanted to mix it up, I played the Passion Pit remix. I think I have it out of my system now. It’s a pretty good party jam. If the trailer for the short film they’re putting together is anything to go by, it should be a fun album!
The weekend was mostly spent investigating how I might put together the next ActionMan Adam comic, and what pages would be in it. I think I have something now. I’m going to start working on it in between comic pages. I’m looking forward to it. Always good to have a project!
Thanks for reading!

Hi all!
Welcome to the beginning of Chapter 5! My thanks again to Robin Hotter for the comic last week. It allowed me to get a few days ahead and take an extra day off. It was like having a long weekend, or something?
This past weekend my wife had me booked in to see a doco flick that she wanted to see. It turned out to be a really interesting movie that was screened here as a part of the World Cinema Showcase that Auckland put on. The film was called “Bill Cunningham – New York” and was about a legendary street style photographer of fashion in New York City, surprisingly enough, named Bill Cunningham. It was a pretty engaging watch. Bill Cunningham is a really cool guy, who is now in his 80′s and still riding around Manhattan on a bicycle, documenting clothing that he finds interesting. He has a great affable quality about him, and I admired the way he never compromises his own morals for the sake of money. If you get the chance, and the subject matter interests you – check it out!
Meanwhile, are you a social media fiend? Don’t forget you can keep up to date with ActionMan Adam on the official Facebook fanpage. Or if you want, you can keep in check with me via Twitter, Flickr or my Tumblr blog as well as the comments section on this site.
Thanks for reading,
Marc
