This is probably my favourite page of this story. It just sums up what Adam is all about. I had lots of fun drawing this page, throwing in all that background detail. It took forever though!
Check back this time next week for page 9!
Just dropped off the custom cover to the guy who purchased it off me. It was really cool catching up with him. Plus he worked in the city, and I rarely visit inner Auckland these days. Looking around there were some changes. Including a whole new skyscraper that apparently came out of nowhere? I should have taken a photo of it, now that I am mentioning it. Sorry for my spectacular fail there!
In any case. Now that he has it, I can post the progression of how the custom cover came together. Obviously I was selling something physical, so I went old school on this one. Pencils, inks, and the colour markers to finish it off. The “Hey Ladies” is really me just thinking that, if Adam were to have a song that would represent him “Hey Ladies” by the Beastie Boys always comes to mind. It’s such a good banging track.
Now I’m back in the house. I have a cold Mac’s Gold beer in hand. The weekend has begun.
Fuck yeah.
Don’t forget, I only have limited stock of the custom covers at present. If you would like one, you can hit up the store.
Thanks for reading!

This is it for this week. The rest of this story will be going up weekly from Monday the 2nd November (USA Eastern time). You can then return every Monday and get the next page in the story. If you are in another time zone please check accordingly.
I watched Star Trek again today, while trying to pass some time with a cold, here at home. I wish that sentence was “cold beer” and not “cold, here”. Anyway, Star Trek is such a good movie. I totally forgot Winona Ryder was in it. People in the movie business should put Winona in more flicks. She is still awesome. I think she is more awesome for trying to shoplift that handbag, whenever that was? I’m sure the price of a handbag in LA, you’d be thinking, “no way!” as well. Plus, she wasn’t stealing necessarily – she was liberating it! Let’s face it, if you were the bag, and your future was pretty much going to be confined to carry some tiny speck of a dog around Rodeo Drive, who will pee and shit on you while in transit, you’d really want to die. Winona was just trying to save the bag from unjust torture.
Lets hear it for Winona people. Classy all around lady!
I’m going to gave to get around to viewing Watchmen again for a second time also. That movie had superhero-y stuff going on in it.
Looking forward to that cold beer once I am healthier.
Thanks for reading. Enjoy your weekend. Page 4 Monday!
Marc
