I’ve got a lot of these to post to this site. Getting behind on my blog posts.

Here is a re-cap on week 5. I basically have been on an exclusive run of X-Men characters and current NBA Basketball players. It’s great fun for drawing though. The X-Men comics were what I was into reading when I was younger. Just a range of cool characters in those stories.

The NBA players started with the current roster of my favourite team the New York Knicks. However they are having what we would call…ahem, a re-building year, and the roster started shifting. I thought it safer to move around the league and draw some players from other teams who interest me in one way or another. Although my love of the Knicks might prevent me from drawing people from certain rival teams I cannot stand.

It’s a good exercise drawing real people though, trying to achieve a likeness while still making it my own comic art.
