It looks as though Adam has gotten away with it…this time. How many more life lines will the dude get though? Only time will tell I suppose. Having such a casual attitude to employment in these difficult economic times, probably not a good move.
How is everyone? Are we getting ready for the holiday season? I know I am. I’m getting 2010 burn out. I’m definitely looking forward to recharging my batteries. Of course, it’s summer here in New Zealand now, so I’m hoping to get out and enjoy it over the holiday period as much as I can.
Hope the week has been good to you!

Hi all,
I drew a Triceratops in panel two. However I covered him up with a word balloon. So you know he is there, I figure I’ll post the panel without the balloon below. Enjoy.
Hope your week has been enjoyable so far. I wish I had more to report on. However I have basically just been locked away drawing. A few DVD commentaries to keep me company, along with a selection of soothing sounds. It helps you not go insane. Heh.
It’s also December. What the?

Hey all,
Did you have an enjoyable weekend? I did. I still haven’t gone to see any of the movies on my hit list, but I did manage to get out once. Went and saw Robin Williams live. It was so worth it. I sit all day, so I felt like my abdominal muscles got a good work out without me having to do a whole lot other than enjoy the show. Ha ha! It was great. The opening act – The Umbilical brothers were also fantastic. We had a good time.
The rest of the weekend was spent on random tasks. Nothing super productive. For some reason you always go into weekends with the best of intentions, thinking you’ll be super productive. Then you get to 6pm Sunday evening, and you can’t remember a single thing you’ve accomplished. Maybe that is just me?

Hello!
Hopefully the week has been treating you well!
Today’s page was loosely based on real life. It’s dedicated to my friend Matt. I hope you enjoy it!
Meanwhile, did you hear about Robin Williams donating his total fee from the Christchurch show he is performing back to the city to aid the earthquake relief effort? That is a pretty amazing thing to do. He is doing his stand up in Christchurch on Friday night – so if you were thinking about going, there is another reason to do so. I’ll be seeing him when he does his show in Auckland the day after that. Should be fun!
I guess I should get to planning next weeks page!

Hi everyone!
It’s been a busy week. The comic is a little later than normal. I spent a day in Christchurch over the weekend, which took away some of my drawing time. It was awesome to go down though. I was able to enjoy a blazing hot day, take in the sights of the city. Assess the earthquake damage with my own eyes. It’s surreal to see all these gaps where buildings used to be. I think the city has an amazing opportunity to now rebuild and do some unique things with design and architecture.
Also got time to check out the Ron Mueck Exhibition at the Christchurch Art Gallery. It was amazing! If you are going to be in Christchurch any time from now through to January I recommend you check it out. It’s well worth it. I’ll blog about it down the line a little bit.
Also worth mentioning that the “lil’ Adam” in the last panel was inspired by this piece by Celina Hernandez.
Hope your weekend was enjoyable as well!

Hey everyone,
It’s November! That is crazy talk! Can you believe the year is almost done? I can’t! It’s been a blur. Hope you enjoy this new page.

Hey all,
Comic is a little later than normal. My apologies for that. As you can see I am back to the full technicolor of old. It took me time to get set up, and I am still finding things I need to get the way I like them to assist my work flow. There are so many things you take for granted until suddenly it’s all gone!
I hung out at Armageddon Auckland on Sunday. It was good fun! I mostly spent my time either doing some sketching, or catching up with some familiar faces around the place. Not to mention I met some cool new people. I’ll have a post detailing the event coming soon.
Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy the return to colour!

Hi everyone!
Hope you’ve enjoyed the mini arc with the traditional styled comics. I should be back to digital next week. I’m hoping at least. This has been fun though. A lot of these pages were drawn very quickly as an exercise in spontaneity. I wasn’t always happy with the result, but hopefully it means I can let go of being so picky with my art sometimes.
I went and saw Metallica last Thursday. It was fun. I might post something in the blog about it soon.
Also, it’s Armageddon this Labour Weekend. If you are going, I will be at the NZ Comics booth on Sunday only. I’ll make sure to tweet it up from the show if you are interested in Cosplayers or anything like that.
Hope your weekend was rad!

Hey all,
As you can see, I am still “roughing it” with the traditional format. It’s all good.
Every time I return to the South Island, I make sure to either:
1) Eat a Jimmy’s pie.
2) Bring some back with me to the North Island.
I do enjoy them.

Hey all,
Still without my equipment. It’s another hand drawn story in the meanwhile. Was a very short weekend, as I worked an extra day. Wasn’t the weather nice in Auckland City though? Hopefully if you are elsewhere, the same can be said there.
Also: I touched on this in my post about Melbourne, but a follow up. Turns out Collingwood won it all. I know a certain cab driver who won’t be pleased with that result.
